No, I did not love this drama. Sorry, not sorry. There were some things that were mildly funny, but many more that were just, well, lame.
Let's start with the positive shit:
The fucking dog!!!
The dog when he wore a dog ponytail / dog bun.
The dog with the extra long bang look.
How the drama addressed the importance of mental health and getting help with post trauma shit in life.
Cross-dressing! Like, it was a thing that wasn't really a thing! Soooo refreshing.
How the drama addressed dating violence, and it's root causes (other than just stating that the abuser is always a douchebag...which they are.)
How the drama highlighted the dangers of online rumors and social media feeding negative stereotypes of women.
Now for the not so great shit:
The leading male character was an anger beast that cried a lot. I personally think that men crying is a normal and healthy way of releasing emotions. Not this guy. He just went around wolfing the fuck out on mofos and then cried.
Nosey ass older ladies. Nobody like judgy, nosey, and straight-up rude people. Even those with wrinkles.
Gossips.
Dog napping! Why steal such a perfect little pooch?! All for some revenge? Come on. Leave the dog out of it!
So, to sum all this randomness up; watch it for the dog. If you go into it with that primer, you'll be ok. Plus, the cross-dressing gentleman was fire as fuck as "Samantha."
