I admit I might have a grown woman crush on him. I may have watched a few of his lovely pieces of work over the years. Furthermore, I might have his picture as wallpaper on the very laptop I'm writing on. DON’T JUDGE!

But. When I saw him in that uniform. SWEET JESUS!

He is 현빈. Hyun Bin. Fangirl fave. Sweet cheeks. Mr. Dimples.

(Dreamy sigh)

Ok, sorry. I got a tad carried away there for a moment.

Here we go. North Korea, South Korea. Super successful woman. Military man. Mishap with wind and some flying shit (hand glider I think). Poof! Crash landing in or north of DMZ (neutral zone no man's land between North Korea and South Korea). Mayhem ensues.

I loved it! I just fucking loved this drama! Love, love, love!

So, yes, Hyun Bin helped. But I loved the secondary characters. The townspeople really made the show whole. Nosey, but well intending neighbors. Strong broship between the North Korean military unit. Loving and selfless parents. The bonded community that was broke as shit, but did not mind because they looked out for each other. I felt all the love and wholesomeness. I felt all that shit and cried every other episode.

Between the main characters, shit was stellar as well. The development of their love came across as very organic. Nothing felt forced or rushed. Nice!

As usual, I don't want to ruin anything for those who have not watched. Please watch it! This is really one of the best K-Dramas on Netflix!

One more thing... her fashion sense is something else! For reals.
